Several notable retrofits have been designed and are available today for installation on older Kimwood resaws. Some retrofits are looked upon as a necessity to simply help companies remain competitive, others are based on parts that are no longer available or, Kimwood has introduced new assemblies and or entire models with new updated features. Kimwood service technicians continually provide updates in regards to industry demands for new features. These requests are reviewed and implemented accordingly.

• Feed Speed and Feedroll Location Indicator
  The FPM Meter will give the operator concise and repetitive feed rate indication. The Feed Roll Location Indicator allows you to visually check the position of your feed rolls relative to the 1st band blade.
  
  
• 'Narrow' High Strain Blade
  The 42" Ferrari Resaw was traditionally designed to run 4" through 6" bandsaw blades. This retrofit system is designed so that once installed, with a minimum amount of guide component changes, plants will now have the capability to use both the narrow & wide blade bands safely and accurately.
