This Quick Release Pressure Bar Assembly replaces the existing manually operated assembly by providing a quick release of the pressure to clear most jams. With the ability to quickly release the pressure, jammed pieces can be frequently backed out of the planer and removed. This can be done safely without raising the top head. A previously set stop point allows for accurate resetting. Downtime is minimized for clearing and resetting of the top head.
